I'm clinging to the Lord with all my might Waiting for him to shed some heavenly light On the burdens that are troubling me sore When he speaks the word they will be no more
Clinging to the promises he has made to me I'm always watching for what his answer will be I know at the right time he will lift my heavy load I believe the promise is coming down my dusty road
My strength is ebbing yet I know that I will see My burdens rolled away and then sweet victory Jesus is the one to whom I must tightly hold He cares for me because I am of his fold
