When they first came the United States they began making strides in the world of aviation. They invented the first enclosed cabin monoplane which carried mail to parts of the United States. They also carried passengers to the San Francisco Bay area.
In 1956 the Jacuzzi brothers decided to make a hydrotherapy pump to treat family members who suffered from arthritis. A small business was created from this when the J-3000 was first sold to hospitals to treat people.
The family business was then passed on Roy Jacuzzi. Roy Jacuzzi was a third generation family member who began learning the Jacuzzi business as a teenager. Roy knew what his customers wanted and needed and in 1968 she created the first self-contained, fully integrated whirlpool. It has been said that this creation of this type of bath dramatically changed the bath industry.
