The Bikini Gets Even Smaller

The bikini has never been much, as far as material goes. It has however, always been a huge hit on the market throughout the world. The size of the bikini continues to shrink. Ironically, the pattern over time has been that the smaller the bikini gets, the more it costs. You would think the opposite would be true. After all, they are not spending much on materials to make them!
The changes started with the top. However, it has gotten so small that it barely covers a persons nipples. Now the focus is on the bottom half. The results are the slingshot, the mini, and the teardrop.
The slingshot bikini is extremely daring. It basically is the width of an actual slingshot. It then extends over the nipples and the crotch tying in the back. All other parts of the body are completely exposed. The mini bikini is the same as the basic bikini, only about half the material, so more skin is exposed. The teardrop bikini has skimpy coverage for the nipples and the crotch, both in the shape of a small teardrop.
The new lines of bikinis are being referred to as extreme bathing suits. They barely cover the required parts of a womans body. Obviously, not all of us will dare to flaunt our assets in one of these bikinis. For everyones enjoyment, only those that look great physically should attempt to wear such an item. Personal hygiene such as waxing is important as well.
These bikinis have hit the market will a small demand. Most women are afraid to wear something so daring in public. Also, many public swim areas including beaches, country clubs, and swimming pools have set up regulations about the types of swimwear that can be worn at their facility. While those wearing such bikinis claim this is discrimination, the swimming facilities are claiming the issue is the result of health concerns rather than the amount of skin showing.
While the bikini continues to shock society with its innovations, society continues to try to meet the criteria to get into one. The two seem to be in a constant cycle of competition. Often women associate the size they should be with the size the bikini is designed for. According to some health experts, only 8 % of women actually are built to wear such bikinis, yet up to 30% of women own one.
