BLESS MY FRIEND Lord, can you do me one favor please Will you be less a friend for me? I don’t know where she is now, What she’s doing or how she’s been But bless her especially this moment She may be needing it most this time.
I sure miss her when I feel so alone Days just never and when I’m with her I even remember one drink in the past if Your arms are as comforting as hers And when I see her in olden days I’m seeing a shade of your face…
Lord, please look after my friends welfare Wherever she is now today May your tender loving care surrounds her And your favor on her stays Though I can’t be with her, old please… Be the arms that’d warm her for me, for always.
