BROTHER BILL'S BARN

By:Irvin L. Rozier

This poem was written for Rev. Bill Choate, a preacher for many years.

Come down to Brother Bill's auction barn

Drink some coffee, listen to a yarn

Pull up a chair, have a seat

Brother Bill will give you something to eat

He'll give you a word from the good book

Walk around his place and take a look

From tractors to golf carts to a tom turkey

He has everything, even Irvie's special jerky

Brother Bill has been preaching for many years

Led many to Jesus who calmed their fears

No retirement for this preacher man

This is part of the Master's plan
