Sonnet II
By:
Alnel Flores
Let me not to twilight of tears;
Of where I’ll nap on bed of mourn.
To live I be then all it bears,
‘Til life will cease and soul may burn.
Too long I’ve live in decent heart;
Of untruth nor loathsome, none clouds.
Spoils not my pleasures on loves part,
And enmity retires not shrouds.
‘Tis none but happiness I meet
In this but of tempted world
I’ll not yield, yet still I keepeth
So tough my life in love did whirled.
List the false to ruin my brain,
Mock to then for me not in pain.
