Queen Bee’s Midnight Caper - Book Review
By:write 2 right
Queen Bee’s Midnight Caper is the second in a series of children’s books written by Simone Fairchild. I have had the honor of reviewing her first book in this series as well, and find this second book is a wonderful accompaniment.
Queen Bee’s Midnight Caper, like the first book in this series, is 40 pages in length and is illustrated by a highly accomplished artist and author, Pamela Key. The first page opens with a form for "This book belongs to:" and closes with six pages of excellent puzzle activities for the children to do on their own.
Queen Bee’s niece, Lovely Lizzy and her cameraman, are kidnapped during a photo-shoot for a news report. Once again, trusted Detective Brown is called in to look for clues and rescue Lovely Lizzy and Clyde with the help of his new friend, Ted the firefly.
This is a good adventure story with fun and exciting images on every page. Your children will love it!
