Anorexia describes a condition where a person decides that they are too fat and therefore they decide that they won’t maintain what should be a normal body weight for their body type and height.

Anyone who has anorexia should seek the help of their doctor so that can seek counseling. The problem is that most girls who have anorexia refuse to admit that they have a problem in the first place. If you know someone who has anorexia you may have to have an intervention of some kind to help them realize that they have an eating disorder.
Be prepared for a great deal of denial since admitting that they have an eating disorder means that they have to start eating and most anorexics will do anything not to have to eat.
