Teamwork in a Networking Business

By:Clive Green

In any kind of business, you should remember that you need people and people also need you. To be an effective businessman, you should not use people in order to gain more resources but instead use your resources to gain more people. You should develop a people-oriented attitude in any kind of work. You should treat the people you work with positively because they are part of your group and they can provide an essential contribution to your business. By being a people-oriented person, you will surely succeed in any business that you handle.

In a business environment, especially in network marketing business, you should develop good relationships with other people. In your network marketing business, you need other people in order for your business to be successful. Successful networking is based on the degree of teamwork that is present in the business. Teamwork is based upon the principle of unity. The greater the unity that exists in a certain relationship, a much deeper relationship is created.

Unity in a relationship is not the same as uniformity. Uniformity means that you are doing a certain work in precisely the same way as your group members. In a group or network, uniformity can be very ineffective. If you are all too much alike, you will stop growing, influencing, and being influenced by the people around you. This can trigger the decline of the group. Unity on the other hand is the process of becoming one or being united in spite of the group members’ differences. In this way they can influence and help each other to attain a specific goal.

Teamwork is vital to the success of a networking business. Teamwork calls for a sense unity from each and every part of a network. From the book entitled Make a Life Not Just a Living, unity simply means; uplift one another, need one another, intimately relate to one another, trust one another, yield to one another. You can notice that it gives emphases to the word another. It simply means that in this job, it requires all the members to work together as a team. These principles should be the basis of success in a network. Remember that in networking, you all belong to one group, having different beliefs and attitudes but aiming for a common goal.
